After the experience in Oxford in 2019, EURO-EXPERT is back to school!
Cultural Expertise a Scuola! Tutti Diversi e Tutti Uguali is a workshop of storytelling of La storia di Màriza from the book Il Giudice alla rovescia, with 21 children aged 9-10, from a primary school of Sesto Fiorentino, near Florence.
The project aims to assess the use and impact of Cultural Expertise in the context of rising populism in Europe, contributing to the understanding of Cultural Expertise as a new instrument for solving conflicts and celebrating diversity.
Through a story-telling session, Luciana Breggia (author of the book and Judge President, Florence Court) and Sabrina Ciolfi (University of Milan, creator and manager of this website), with the help of the class teacher Chiara Moriggi will encourage the children to think about cultural diversity as a way to contribute to universal human rights.
The workshop will take place on 8 April, as soon as children will return to their classroom, after the remote education period due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.
The event has been organised in association with Scuola Primaria Padre E. Balducci, Istituto Comprensivo Statale n° 3, Sesto Fiorentino (FI).
